Ingenious Ventures, a specialist Venture Capital Trust manager, has launched two Solar UK VCTs which aim to benefit from the UK's Feed-in Tariff scheme announced in April 2010. The VCTs will aim to raise up to £30 million and will invest in roof mounted and ground mounted installations across the UK, concentrated in the South of England. Ingenious Ventures is working in conjunction with the Low Carbon Group to source and operate the investments.
The Solar UK VCTs, Ingenious Solar UK VCT 1 plc and Ingenious Solar UK VCT 2 plc, will have a minimum investment of £3,000. New shares of up to 10 million are being offered in each of the two companies at an issue price of 100p per share.
