Liliana Fernandez is a former diplomat. She has served as Panama's Ambassador to the UK, amongst other diplomatic posts. She was Panama's Permanent Representative to the International Maritime Organisation (a United Nations body) and represented Panama at various international trade organisations. She was educated in Canada, Colombia and the UK and holds an MSc from the London School of Economics. She has a keen interest in environmental issues and has participated in UNFCCC meetings. The areas of expertise which she brings to Cleantech Investor range from energy efficiency in shipping to energy policy in Latin American, where she is currently based.
