Jim Totty of Sustainable Technology Investors Ltd (STIL) will speak at the Cleantech Fund Manager Platform on 13 December 2012. Jim will talk on two STIL funds: Sustainable Technology Investments (Guernsey) Limited “STIG” and the recently launched UK Energy Efficiency Investments Fund, which has received £50 million of funds from the Green Investment Bank.
STIL was founded by Stephen Lansdown, formerly co-founder of Hargreaves Lansdown (the UK's biggest independent private client brokerage).
The Green Investment Bank backed UK Energy Efficiency Investments Fund has recently announced its first investment - the financing of a retrofit at industrial facilities owned by Kingspan Group.
Jim has 18 years’ experience in sustainable and clean technology, gained through his previous roles including Citi, PricewaterhouseCoopers and earlier academic work. Jim is a Chartered Financial Analyst, and holds an MA in Physics from the University of Cambridge and an MSc and PhD in Physics from Imperial College, University of London.
