Nicholas Gill - Corporate Director, Aeristech Limited
Aeristech has developed compact, electrically efficient (˃98%), power dense (56kW), rapidly accelerating (up to 150,000 RPM in 0.5 seconds) high speed motors and generators that materially enhance vehicle efficiency. The technology has applications in all types of internal combustion engine vehicle, off-highway and HGVs, and hybrid EVs. Aeristech's intellectual property includes ultra fine power management control that allows full power in normal driving in under 0.5 seconds, and provides initial thrust in 0.1 seconds. The system can run on low or high voltage, depending on constraints and the level of power needed. Aeristech’s breakthrough full electric turbo technology substantially increases engine efficiency, reducing transient emissions and increasing fuel economy. The technology utilises the world’s fastest accelerating and most power dense permanent magnet motors. Aeristech is testing its turbo technology with two global vehicle manufacturers and is engaging with other vehicle manufacturers and Tier 1 suppliers. Nicholas has substantial corporate funding and business growth experience at director level originally in Merchant Banking and Venture Capital. Experience of commercializing platform technologies in various sectors including green energy.
