As founder of the £100 million public company Trafficmaster Plc, David successfully managed and grew that company as CEO for sixteen years. He has significant experience in the transport industry, and his knowledge in managing the setting up and running of a countrywide network infrastructure is unrivalled. David has pulled together a talented and experienced team of industry experts over the last two years to enable Chargemaster to create the worldwide benchmark for high technology charging equipment to meet the demands of low carbon motoring in the decades ahead. David was appointed by the UK government to be an advisor to the Department for Transport from 1995 until 2000 and holds numerous patents relating to advanced automotive infrastructure.

Barry Shrier - CEO, Liberty Electric Cars
Barry has a successful track record in launching new businesses that solve consumer needs with leading-edge technology innovations. His current venture is Liberty Electric Cars. Liberty designs and markets zero-emission cars - based on iconic British marques like the Range Rover re-engineered with highly-innovative electric motors and state-of-the-art nanotechnology batteries. Liberty transforms world famous, gorgeous British luxury cars – expertly upgraded into high performance cars with zero carbon footprint. Barry is also the founder of The Zero-Emission Vehicle Foundation. Barry was hired by Deutsche Bank to launch Paybox, the world’s first international mobile payment system. Prior to Deutsche Bank, Barry worked for several strategic marketing consultancies where he developed his expertise in the application of cognitive psychology to understand consumer behaviour. He managed various international projects for Unilever, Guinness, Procter & Gamble, Mars and Nestle. Barry is also a Non-Executive Director of the Washington DC based Leo Terra LLC; launching the world’s first global mobile broadband satellite network.

Bill Gillespie - Chief Executive, Modec
Bill joined Modec as Chief Executive in 2007. In his time at Modec he has taken the business from its development phase through to volume production, selling to major customers - including FedEx, Tesco, UPS, Amey, Veolia and Speedy Hire - in 8 countries. Bill has worked within a number of industrial, high technology and automotive companies. He has been Group Finance Director for three public companies, Manganese Bronze, Ibstock & Henlys. Bill has also worked at Board level for two private equity transactions, Unipart the logistics group and Dynacast where he worked as Chief Operating Officer for North America & Europe. Bill took a degree in Electronics and Control Engineering from Cambridge University and initially worked as a design engineer. Bill also qualified as a Chartered Accountant with KPMG in London.

David Latimer, CEO, EVO Electric
Dave Latimer has extensive experience managing specialist engineering businesses. His focus has often been on turnaround situations requiring improvements to supply chain or manufacturing operations. His career has included time with Rolls Royce, Howden, FKI and Weir. Whilst with FKI he spent 5 years as Managing Director of Brush HMA b.v. – a manufacturer of high power electrical machines. Dave has a degree in Aeronautical Engineering from University of Bristol and an MBA from Manchester Business School.
